Thank you @Nita_Davis
Now I really understand why almost everyone finds making flowers annoying ![]()
Thank you @Atropex I haven’t made a lot of miniatures yet, but little has been pre-made and everything needs to be cut out and pasted.
Thank you @Jo1
Making these flowers is actually faster than painting the small details in the classic carousel ![]()
I have a feeling that I am going to come across some of those paper flowers in the DIY Bridal Nook. It will definitely be a first time for me. @Liset
Good luck! Use tweezers if you need to roll up the flowers, that goes a lot faster. @jeanneL also had a good tool for this. Don’t know the name anymore ![]()
@Liset oh fab !xx it all looks great

Your roses look pretty darn good. My initial ones looked like crumpled paper
Thank you @jeanneL
These also look just like crumpled paper balls, but it still adds some color to the build.
I can clearly tell they are roses! ![]()

Thanks! I just looked in the box…there will be tons of them to cut, roll and glue.
I think it was a quilling tool she had mentioned…? @Liset @jeanneL
If that’s the bread then yea I agree with you that it’s weird
That’s cool. Good progress ![]()
Wow…you must have patience of steel! They look really great!
Yes, that was indeed it. I use pointed tweezers and that works too, you just have to hold the paper in place when you pull the tweezers back, otherwise you pull the flower apart again.
I don’t know what else it’s supposed to be, and I also don’t know how to make it look more like bread ![]()
Thank you @Anje_Leonoza_Mira ![]()
Ohhhhh…thanks for the tip…This does not sound fun at all. I may try a toothpick…I don’t know… ![]()
Thank you @Tkaplan
Through this hobby, I’ve discovered that I can be quite precise, but these details are still tricky to make, and my husband regularly hears me swearing when I drop another piece ![]()
I also started with a toothpick, but that doesn’t hold the first part in place and it’s difficult to start rolling. But who knows, maybe you’ll succeed ![]()
That’s a lot of work. Well done @Liset
