@Liset everything went well, i was allowed to bring her back home the same day yesterday promissing keeping a very good eye om her. She has her meds and me spoiling her. She can’t eat, i made her soup today. She has a swollen face. Another bigger sugery in 6 or 8 months. But i’m so proud of her how she handled things yesterday. She is so grown up for a 16 year old. We just lett things come to us yesterday and handled it as it came. My husband stayed home with our son who has ASS, it is school holiday, although he is 20 years old he can’t stay by himself, so i took care of my daughter in hospital and my husband took care of our son at home. We now taking it day by day while she’s recovering. Her friends will come and see when she feels up to it maybe over the weekend or next week. For now she can’t speak a lott neither. She has a post operating appointment in hospital on the 5th of January and it’s up to the professor to tell us when the next bigger operation can take place. But there needs to 6 to 8 month’s between them and also depending on other things. But for now we are taking it day by day. And i will say it again that i’m so very proud on how she handled things yesterday as it was her first surgery ever.

I think it’s very difficult for your daughter that she can’t eat or talk properly. I hope she recovers quickly and the pain stays under control. Hope she will get better soon :hugs:

@Liset We’re taking it day by day. I’m making soup, mashed potatoes with mashed vegetables and ground meat, yogurt, chocolate mousse, pudding. She’s already lost weight, so we have to keep an eye on this, but she’s persevering. Her best friend from school is coming over tomorrow because she feels a bit isolated and she feels up to it. Laughing and coughing hurts and her face is still swollen, but she is hanging in there.

It is important that she gets enough protein, but from what I read she has a very sweet mother who takes good care of her :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
