Christmas plans : We just keep things small this year

My Christmas plan is to sit in front of the tv in my pajamas with some snacks and hang around binging series. My 16 year old daughter has her first surgery on December 23th, she won’t be able to eat for a week, so we just keep things small, my husband, my son and my daughter and i. I have a few presents for everyone. So we just stay home so my daughter can recover from her surgery, and we will have tons of ice cream for her

It was her wish to postpone her first surgery until after her exams she started with today, then she has 2 weeks to recover from it in the 2 week school holiday

Oh no. I am so sorry to hear this about your daughter. It is okay to keep things low-key at times. Wishing for a speedy recovery and wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas.
