This one had so many “oh cool” moments packed into it! The Super Fruit Store has a lit window display filled with tiny oranges and fruits, and a door that opens to reveal the inside of the shop. The door itself is two-part plastic with a thick clear pane between — such a neat detail. There’s also an orange vending machine that actually works! You load a little orange in the back, it rolls down the track, and comes out the hopper in front. The little knob even twists. So stinking cute.
There’s also a pink shopping cart, and I loved that the shopping bag wasn’t empty — they gave you enough fruit pieces to fill it. I did make one small change to the fruit stand: it came with 6 green oranges under a sign that says “orange,” and that just didn’t sit right with me. I swapped in 2 of the orange-colored ones and tucked the green ones into the bottom of the shopping bag instead.
The kit originally came with a battery box, so I contacted Robotime and got a USB replacement to keep it consistent with the rest of my Super Creator room collection. This one is going to make an excellent addition!
