Today I stumbled upon a set of bookends that I’d been sitting around for quite a while without touching them. Having just finished two Chinese-style sets, I’ll switch to this one for a change of pace. The box is quite thin and light, so there probably won’t be too many details. The colors are also fine, so I won’t need to do much painting. It’s a bit of a shame, though, that this set doesn’t have lights. I think I’ll have to add something to that. But first, I need to get the basics done.

I’ve often admired this but haven’t succumbed to purchasing it yet. I like it though and it looks nice seeing the details in your photos.
I’ve always wanted to see the build progress for this! It would be really cool if you added lights. 
Every time I see a kit like this that I initially wasn’t impressed with…then I see someone build it and love it. This will be really cool!
