Slow Progress: Sakura Pavilion Update 🌸

Progress has been slow lately, but I’m really enjoying the process  I finally finished making the tassels, which felt very satisfying.

To make things easier, I used the magnetic mini clips to help hold everything in place while I worked. They’re incredibly versatile and honestly one of those tools you don’t realize you need until you try them. Super helpful for holding tiny pieces steady.

I’m still taking my time with the wiring. It’s not my strongest skill, but I’m working through it patiently and learning as I go. Slow progress is still progress, and I’m reminding myself that this is all part of the build and part of the fun.

I’ve also finished coloring all the cherry blossoms. That part was very relaxing and I love how much depth the extra shading adds. It really brings the sakura to life. :cherry_blossom:

Planning to get more done today if I can… unless the sandman catches me first

That’s wonderful. Your sharing is really helpful. I like how you colored the flower petals; it will surely be amazing. Everything we experience will be a lesson for us in the future.

Hey, that’s neat you had to make all the tassels! I actually just ordered some of those magnetic clamps after seeing them in @jeanneL ’s post! I have clamps but they are the ones that you insert into little holes, and they are kind of finicky and annoying! I don’t even know magnetic ones existed!

It’s okay to take things slowly. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: For me, I enjoy the process more than the result. I appreciate my work more if I’m taking it at my pace. Don’t be pressure to finish that kit quickly.

It is fun to build things from scratch. It takes longer but I enjoyed the process a lot.

The process really makes this hobby so worthwhile. Sometimes i do get impatient and i would need to walk away and come back after 10 mins or so… at least for the dream factory i had to lol

i :100: agree! it makes it more rewarding too! I cant wait to be home and build more
