Hi everyone! ![]()

I wanted to properly introduce myself after receiving such an incredibly kind and warm welcome here. I recently shared an idea for the autumn/winter DIY contest, and I honestly wasn’t expecting such a lovely response!!! The encouragement, thoughtful feedback, and enthusiasm from everyone has made me feel so welcome, so thank you. ![]()

My name is Kayt and I’ve been based in Australia for 6 years after moving from Northern California. Tiny worlds are very much one of my favourite things! I love building, modifying, styling, weathering, and adding all of those ridiculously small details that make a miniature space feel like somebody actually lives there. I’m especially drawn to atmospheric, story-filled builds with fun little “Easter eggs” — old libraries, witchy rooms, apothecaries, antique shops, cosy kitchens, strange little studies… basically anything that looks like it might have a secret history. ![]()

I’d love to see more challenges, creative modifications, behind-the-scenes processes, unusual kit customisations, tutorials, and plenty of photos of everyone’s tiny worlds. I get so much inspiration from seeing everyone’s unique ideas! I’m also really looking forward to meeting other people who get disproportionately excited about miniature furniture, tiny books, microscopic food packaging, and spending far too long deciding exactly where one tiny object should sit and which direction it should face. ![]()
Thank you again for making a newcomer feel so welcome. I’ve had a hard time meeting people since moving here, and I originally started building Rolife/ROKR kits as a way to reconnect with my inner child after my best friend of 15+ years passed away unexpectedly last year.
I really wasn’t prepared for the amount of kindness I received on my other post, and I can’t quite describe how special that welcome has felt.
I’m so happy I found this little corner of the internet, very grateful to be here, and so excited to see everyone’s creations!!! ![]()

Welcome to the community! You’re in the right place for all of the above
.
I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. Good friends are so hard to find. Whereabouts are you in Australia? There are quite a few of us here - I’m on the Gold Coast. I moved here about ten years ago and didn’t find it easy to make friends here, either. Bonding over craft and hobbies was exactly what helped me find new friends here! ![]()
Welcome to the community, Annette!

Heya! My name is Ter and I’m from the Philippines
A friend in the community recently got me into crafting, and I’ve been really enjoying it. I love trying new hobbies, and since I really love cats, I wanted to build cat-themed kits. I just bought my second kit, which is the Dreamy Cat Tavern, and I’m just waiting for it to be delivered!
Hello Annette and welcome to the community! thanks for sharing some of your builds! I am glad you came back to your kit and stuck with it.
Hello Emma, welcome to the community. Be sure to add your country flag to your name! Here is the link that I made to show how:

Welcome to the community! I love the Shakespeare bookstore and the Wisdom Ring Library - I’ve considered getting the Wisdom Ring Library but wasn’t sure whether I’d have trouble with the stairs. Did you have any problems with those?
Welcome to the community, Ter! I love cats, too. I hope your kit arrives soon!
