I feel the same about my efforts. But I’m fairly new to building these kits, so I have a lot of learning to do, still. I’ve learned so much since joining here, already my efforts are looking better!

Hi, I’m Annette. I live in Florida, US. I started a few years ago purchasing my first kit but it was so hard I put it away and picked up the hobby of miniatures again in December 2025. I haven’t looked back since and I enjoy building something or working on something every single day, even if for only 10 minutes. I started off with book nooks, and then I progressed to the DIY miniature builds and houses, and now I also have done some of the ROKR mechanical builds. I just finished the scout beetle, and i’m going to also do the scorpion. I don’t know anyone who also enjoys these types of hobbies. So I introduced it to a couple of my co-workers and a few of them have also completed builds of their own, so I’m very happy to be sharing the hobby. This hobby brings me much joy and helps me de-stress. I included just a few pictures of my many builds from ROKR or Rolife
