It hardens by baking it. Good idea for it. Thanks Jeanne. @Nita_Davis also suggested toothpicks for the prickly parts. Still learning how to work with clay. @jeanneL

After seeing your clay cactus, I went home and looked at mine. I quickly remembered how hard it was to follow the directions for building/folding that thing…LOL!

I totally agree that sometimes there can be to many items that makes the kit look to full.
You’ve been very creative in finding solutions. I actually like the sign the way it hangs now. The cactus has taken on very natural shapes. It turned out amazing. Beautifully done.
