📚 Rolife Pagestory Books DH103 | Press Play on Your Memories

I might but I still have a ton of books here waiting to be read.

I have most of Isobelle Carmody’s books and I’ve chatted with her a few times at cons. I thoroughly enjoyed reading her books. I’m a bit bummed that she hasn’t been able to finish the Darksong trilogy.

Oh how cool! I haven’t had a chance to meet her, what is she like? I didn’t even start the Darksong trilogy after what she did to me with Obernewtyn. I just had a feeling I couldn’t trust her…

I love The Faraway Tree, The Wishing chair and many of Enid Blyton’s books. There are several community members here who have fond memories of the Faraway Tree.

Do tell about your writing. I’m very interested.

I can’t walk past a bookstore even if don’t buy anything.

She had publisher issues and her old publishers wouldn’t release the rights to her previous two books so she couldn’t publish the last one in the trilogy. She’s actually really down to earth and great to chat with.

To be honest, for a long time I didn’t have much willingness to read, and I’m really missing this. Just have a weird feeling that books these days are not surprising for me anymore. What I mean i liked to read crime books because they have this cute mystery, andyou’re always wondering what happened, and now I know all after reading some summary.

The other part is that some became very dark, so I do not like them that much.

Hi! Thank you for the warm welcome!

The first Rolife kit I built was the Silent Corner Study, followed by Becka’s Baking House. I had so much fun putting them together!

Both of these kits are so lovely :sparkles:

These look great. Thanks so much for sharing them.

Wow the fact that you mentioned an academic book is so amazing. Physics used to be my absolute favorite in high school because of it’s reasoning

I just loved it, the fact is film adaptations of it aren’t my favorite. I just have this image if all the characters and the films NEVER meet those features

That often happens when you read the book first, haha, but for someone who hasn’t read it, watching the movie directly lives up to expectations.

Oh, I can relate! :joy: There’s something about manga that makes it so easy to say, “Just one more volume…” and suddenly the bookshelf is full! At least now you have all those stories to look back on!

You’re welcome. You did a beautiful job on both of these kits. @Yukari

@300 @Vinay my spouse graduated university as an electrical engineer but was like one or two credits short of a physics degree too. we’ve both been out of school for over 10 years and we both regularly watch physics and science and astronomy videos on the internet just to learn as much as we can. I’m not a very STEM-minded individual (I do the music thing) but it’s all so interesting, and I love how passionate about it my spouse is. he’s like a human encyclopedia, it’s adorable.

What a cute kit! I definitely need to add this to my stash!

wzw la maquette est enorme et pleines de livres

Oh, I didn’t know that, but that makes sense. I’m glad she’s nice - I should make of an effort to go to things like that!
