The glue they gave me has worked well. I like the nozzle. It made it really easy to apply.
The glue they gave me is NOT good for fabric but they didn’t expect me to try to upholster the seats. No regrets though. I did get the fabric to stick once I switched glues.
I do not intend to paint this model. I will be doing some small customizations on it. I already upholstered the seats and added silver to the edges of the engine. I think the end product going to look good with mild customizations.
What a perfect fit! They looked like they were part of the garage set lol. I’m also liking the way you used the silver pen, I would’ve never thought of that!
I totally understand why you said this model irritated you. There is a lot of points where it has me putting a lot of pressure on fragile parts. I could easily have snapped several pieces by now if I wasn’t being extremely careful.
It should probably be rated higher than 1.5/5 difficulty. I definitely would not recommend it for beginners. I wouldn’t recommend this kit in general unless someone really likes old cars and has a huge amount of patience.
I don’t think I could have ever found a more perfect color match than that pen. I wish they would include pens like this in more of their kits. Something that is the right color to cover large seams.
Oh, I’ve never seen glue in a Rolife kit before (then again, I’ve never built a Nook or a Miniature House to begin with). But this is looking interesting! Can’t wait for your updates.
