I admit I like the Bookstore a little more than coffee cart but both are so cute. This one starts out with building all the little things, which I love the most. Reminds me a bit of that Post Office kit.!
The brown rectangle with ridges will end up as a roof.. This one does not really tell you how to place the row of shingles, tou just have to measure out. The last thin board C5, I put down before last row so I could make sure it was lined up well! My flat base was a bit warped so I used my clips to hold shingles down until glue dried.
All is going well so far. Just one more piece of confusion. I am unsure what they want me to do with those little grey clamps. It looks like they just drop them in the bottom. Yet there are tiny holes on backside. Next pictures do not show them in the holes. So I have set them aside for now. @Robotime any clue?
Looks good so far! Why are you liking the other kit more than this one? I’m curious if it’s just because of all the little crafting like you’ve mentioned or if there are more reasons there.
Nice crafting so far, I’m liking the shape those tiny things are taking in your hands!
About the two grey thingies, not sure what to tell you, but looks like the manual is asking you to fit them inside? Maybe you could take a look forward through the pages to make sure what that’s for or how that will end up looking like.
ooh the herd of assistance is growing I see new members?? and about the grey pieces aren’t there holes on the inside?? (I’m not talking about the holes on the back?? aren’t there ones on the front??)
Those clips are amazing for many things. I love the looks of that roof. I agree with Eloy that it appears that those clips go INSIDE the box…(probably to prop up flowers, rather than have them fall to the bottom).
I Thi k that they are meant to go inside. Without looking ahead, I would assume that they may prop something up?
Looking at the little bits you’ve created already, I can see why it’s giving you post office vibes.
I don’t know, maybe? But as @Nita_Davis agreed, the arrows there kind of make me think they’ll go inside. Do you think they would fit, in matter of actual size?
I’m totally side tracked but today I learned something new from your post. I had to look up what roof shingles were. When I see the word shingles I only think of the rashes.
Hmm I’m with you. I would imagine the clamps go inside the holes so you can hang them somewhere but the instruction is a little confusing. I guess just keep building and we will see what happens.
