📖 [Rolife Journey] Update: Christmas Street… day ? 🎄

Slow progress, and I’m actually enjoying it :seedling:

If it weren’t for the group suggesting I try a more grounded process like painting, I probably wouldn’t have, and I’m really glad I did. Pausing in between making has been such a great respite after long, busy workdays. I love using these tiny clamps to hold pieces when I paint smaller parts… great for drying too

It’s been nice letting things unfold at a gentler pace instead of me rushing to the next build… which is hard, ahahaha. I’m planning to customize this tree a little more and see where it takes me. Sometimes slow progress really is the best kind of progress :sparkles:

This is looking really nice! Are those little clamps magnetic on the bottom and sticking to a metal try? Very cool!

I think I glittered my tree. I am a glitter maniac for Christmas I guess! This was one of my favorite builds. I did take my time for once and tried to enjoy every peaceful moment. I get so focused I can work for hours and hours on these!

Im planning on flocking it with white snow but the glitter idea sounds better :face_with_monocle:

Oh I love those clamps! I’ve got some but not magnetic ones and yours look like a great help with painting!

I do like building at a slow pace but that’s also because I’m always distracted. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Slowing down and enjoying the process really shows in your work. I might get those clamps too when I start painting my builds. I’m really excited to see the final result!:sparkles:

Yes but i can only hold 2 pieces so if you have more parts you have wait for the first 2 to dry before you can move on and these clamps are not very expensive.
