That looks like an old times merry go round that I saw in some movies.

Thank you @Tricia12 :hugs: I finally finished the roof today. Now I just need to finish the railing and then it’s finally done

The time it’s taking from you will definitely pay off, I’m sure of it. I’ve built this one for Christmas decorations (although it ended up being all-year-long deco though) and I’ve loved it as it is, but you’re truly making it your own. Your choice of colours is so spot on, @Liset. I’m so jealous of you. Since the one I’ve built was a gift, I may end up buying another one for myself. May this be the time I finally start painting kits, following your example here? :stuck_out_tongue:

Haha Thank you so much @TheToday :hugs: If I may give you a tip, I won’t start a build like this. It just seems endless, and even I’m not enjoying painting it anymore

Noted! I guess it’d be better to start with an easier one.

If, and only if, I ever do so. :stuck_out_tongue:

Start slow. I started with acrylic markers and edges. Painting the couch and the sheets and furniture in the A-Frame was a bigger one. Then I did the cheers bar. I just could not live witha red and white checked floor and orange walls. Bright orange walls. A bar such as that should be a little darker and cozy. I painted the floor to look wood (now I would just print one out) I sponged some darker color on the walls and done. I was super excited with how it looked and trust me I am not an artist!

Noted and good tips, thanks a lot! I’m still sceptic about starting to paint things in my kits yet, but hey, never say ever. One of my incoming kits (after the Cuckoo Clock blablabla) will be the Space Shuttle, and… Maybe that’ll be my starting point? Just because it’s the first Robotime mechanical kit I see that doesn’t bring a lot of colour other than the white rocket.

Liset it’s amazing! The colours are so vivid and neatly painted! :light_blue_heart: It does feel like forever but the end is near for you I’m sure.

I can’t imagine painting something that intricate. That looks so complicated and there’s so many.

But in the bright side, your carousel is looking amazing @Liset

Thank you @Jill_Francisco :hugs: This kit was one of the more difficult to paint, and many of the pieces are the same, which makes it a bit less fun. I’m glad it’s finished

You’re so close now, Liset! I remember from your earlier updates how much detailed painting this carousel needs, no wonder it feels endless. But it’s looking beautiful, and all that patience is really paying off!
