📖 [Rolife Journey] Update 2: first miniature house

After a week of building, I’ve put together a lot of small details. I’m currently working on the sakura tree. Does anyone have any tips for getting the small leaves on the tree faster? Or do I really need to attach them one by one?

Nice kettle!

Haven’t worked on plants / flowers before so not sure.. looks like it’ll take some time

Thank you :hugs: i think i have to put them one by one, it will take some time

Its all looking beautiful! Well done @Liset  what is the tree trunk/branches made from?

I would probably spread a thin layer of glue down the branch and then put a heap of flowers to cover that area rather than just dabbing one spot at a time. Does it make sense what i wrote?

You are making such great progress! I will keep watch on your progress so I know how to build mine  the pieces are so tiny.

It will take a lot of time  but i’m almost at the finish if i make the Sakura tree

It is from plastic, it is an update of the kit. You don’t have to make it anymore with the iron wire

I dont know if this work, I don’t know if this will work, because I’m a bit of a perfectionist…I can’t stand it when a flower is the wrong way around. But maybe i can try it if it takes to long to put the flowers one by one

If I can make it, you absolutely can! Your builds are amazing. The instructions are clear, although the pictures are sometimes a bit dark.

Thank you @Nita_Davis :hugs:

You will still be placing the flowers one by one, you would just have an area of glue to cover at one time so its a little quicker than individually gluing each flower.

Oh interesting they updated the tree in this kit but its still very old style in other ways!

The kato was difficult to make, with all those thin wires, they quickly got tangled up, so I couldn’t see any loose threads running through them. After a bit of fiddling, I managed to get them nice and straight.

Thank you @Jerry_Boswijk :hugs:
