No crazy notes this time… just taking it day by day and enjoying the build . This kit comes with its own glue, so I’m saving that and using my trusty Aleene’s Tacky Glue in the upside-down bottle instead. It’s been working beautifully. I also got new board dividers, I purchased a lid rack from Homesense.
I also upgraded my setup! I scored a free 200 cm table from my local Freecycle group. It’s a little bent (cue the weights on the side ) but I think I can straighten it out. I definitely needed more counter space, and this keeps my hutch safe from scratches since I use it mainly for display. I’ve also got a mini table that I pull out when I need extra room.
The cafe definitely lives up to its name I hope you’re having a slow and relaxing time building it. I love alternating between easy and difficult kits.
I totally get distracted by Nanci’s collections you had!! The aubergine bear one is just my dream one now!! and the bunny one so cute as well.but still the fist one really adorable..
Very happy with your table extension! more working space!
@JDisaduck Aww thank you!! I totally get that. The cafe really lives up to its cozy name It has been such a relaxing build so far. I love switching between easy and challenging kits too. It keeps things fun!…. and collecting these dolls on the side lol
I know!!! I feel so guilty getting some glue on it, I would need to restrain if I use a solvent… maybe goo gone might work without stripping the varnish… So happy I got a proper table now!
