This was so fun. I love the painted horses, and zebra. I also like the plastic poles holding the horses. This one works more smoothly than the other one.

Thank you. It went a lot faster than I thought it would. I like this one better than the “Romantic Carousel” that was a lot more intricate and I had to paint the pieces and wait for them to dry before assembling. I also troubles with breaking parts because it was my first build. This one, the Classical Carousel, has quite a few less parts, but they are pre-painted.

Yes, the horses (zebra, ram, and stag) all go up and down. You can change the tune, (there are two different ones–classical music) and you can also just have it lit while it is stationary.

I have about 100 and I have given away five. All in about 2 years, even painting most all of them.

Thanks, Jill. I like the two classical tunes, and then it also can be lit while the carousel is still. It has to be plugged in, but at least I don’t have to keep replacing batteries. I hope you get your wish. Happy New Year!
