This is the completed Alice’s Bedroom. This room has very cozy, eclectic vibes. I added my own string lights. I really like how much they add warmth to the room.
Also my prize from December’s Leaderboard has arrived!! This is the “Classical Gramophone” set. I am excited about the challenge that this set presents! I usually would not have the opportunity to attempt it. Thank you to the Robotime Community and Staff for everything that you do.
I will probably not paint it. It is a very technical looking model. I just want to focus on making it work properly. I chose the electrical addition. I am interested to see how the electric mechanism works.
I also have a small model version of the Gramophone that I have been meaning to paint. That one is much simpler and smaller. No moving parts.
Did you try Unicorn Toys (where I got those ancient traditional Chinese sets)? I think they were in Canada but they seemed well set up for international shipping.
Most everything in their store is very expensive except for the ancient traditional Chinese that I purchased. Every kit they had was 68$. The kits I bought were 15$ and 15$ and I paid 10$ shipping. So 40$ total for both kits including shipping.
Yes i did see them and have it on my list but the shipping cost and taxes will probably be high. But i plan on seeing later this month how much it would be if i order it.
Unicorn’s shipping might not be as high as you think. You may not like those specific kits though.
Maybe you could find some sources in the UK. I think they have good proximity to you and they do a lot of heavy commerce there. Is there a European eBay? eBay was such a cultural revolution when it first was created.
The rooftop’s shadow is such a beautiful touch to the set!! It’s adds coziness?? Make it even more harmonious?? Idk how to describe it but I loved so much

Just when i saw first picture i was like: wow is wish that was my room!! Its decorated so well!!! And then i saw its just a miniature xD Hahahah so I believe this is the room design i can afford in Poland (with current prices xD) So lovely and cute
Congratulation for December Leaderboard win!! Really this is a big deal in my opinion because you are so active here! I wish i could be just half that as you are! And you choose and amazing set!! Maybe one day! Far far away form now!
Honestly, I kind of went overboard last month. It was too much. Now I am just trying to relax and have fun and not let myself worry about doing the most. I think it will be better for me and others.
The room turned out so cosy with the string lights! I would definitely want to live in a beautiful room like this. My real life decorations are not very far off. There are small things you can do that really warm up a space. Art, lights, plants, fabrics. Houses are really expensive where I live too. It’s been a major issue for me. I’ve had to make the most out of dingy spaces many times.
It’s super cozy and I wanna live in there. The lights are also a good touch! 
I have yet to decide if I want to give it to my partner to build it.
