Someone asked: any creative uses for the boxes the kits come in after you are finished with the build.
And I’m wondering what you would do with the manuals/introduction book?
Some people will keep it and some people will throw it away.

because I have too many models to store, I will throw it away. What I do is take pictures or scan useful instructions for each model set so that I can create other sets later, for example: how to make chairs, flowers, cactus
I throw the boxes away, but I always keep the instructions (especially for ROKR models) because I can refer back to them if someone is having a problem on a build.
I usually use the boxes to store spare parts and little pieces, but when I run out of space I have to throw some away. As for the instructions, I keep one from each kit I’ve built, it feels like a little collection (though I think a few are missing …).
I started keeping my instructions as well. If someone has a problem, it is very easy to look back on the instructions and possibly find where they might be having a problem especially with the wooden models @Wenbare
Yes!! For example, I’ve kept the instructions for the owl clock along with the repair guide, just in case something breaks so I know how to fix it or which piece it is
I keep all the boxes, using 2 for manuals, other for wood scraps. Also keep all leftover screws and other non-wood parts including the many screwdrivers.
Considering that the boxes take up about half the space as a finished model, I would need two more shelving units just to store boxes…NOT happening! @camila_castro
