Will add more of my Holiday kits as I finish them… but here’s my current pride and joy!
As Christmas gets closer, I’m feeling that beautiful mix of excitement, faith, homesickness, and pure holiday chaos a very Filipino combination!
Even though I’m in Toronto, my heart is already singing “Pasko na naman o kay tulin ng araw!” and wandering back home to the Philippines, where the Parols glow brighter than my willpower to avoid extra rice.

What I’m Looking Forward To
This year, I want to keep my Christmas very meaningful! So I’m excited to volunteer at the local Toronto Food Bank again! Nothing feels more like the true spirit of Christmas than sharing blessings! And we say back home, “Ang tunay na Pasko ay nasa puso, hindi sa bulsa.” (True meaning of Christmas is within our hearts, not pockets)
Nostalgia
I miss the smell of bibingka, the sound of kids practicing Christmas carols slightly off-key, and of course, the legendary Noche Buena table that magically refills itself no matter how many cousins you have.

But Christmas Wouldn’t Be Complete Without
Our silly Filipino party games that only get more chaotic each year… And of course, the exchange gift rules that nobody follows Everyone is so generous, specially to the kids!
Christmas always pulls at my heart. I miss my childhood, the heat, the noise, the laughter, the family. But I’m grateful to still carry these traditions with me, and to create new ones with my family and community here in Canada.
No matter where we are, Christ is still the center, and Christmas will always be a reminder that love crosses oceans, borders, and time zones.
Maligayang Pasko, everyone! ![]()

May your homes be warm, your hearts be full, and your party games… slightly competitive but still God-honouring (mostly
