I’m 89 years old, so when Christmas comes each year, it may be my last one. I have a lot to be thankful for - my family, my wife (now in heaven) of 64 years, my kids, my grandkids, my friends and my health. I try not to spoil them with lavish presents at Christmas. In my spare time (I have lots of it.) I build 3D wooden models. I have built 75 models, most of them by ROKR. I enhance most of them by painting, adding motors to replace hand cranks, adding LED lights and adding batteries instead of USB power. My most recent model is one of my favorites - the ROKR London Marble Run. At Christmas time I usually try to build a model with a Christmas theme. So I’m currently building the ROKR Dream Gift Factory.

Your hands-on skills and creative thinking are truly extraordinary, they surpass what most people even half your age can achieve. It’s amazing to see how your mind and hands work together to bring these complex models to life. Wishing you a joyful and peaceful Christmas surrounded by family, friends, and all your creations!
You are such a joy! I never thought of adding battery lights. I so am not fond of the USB to light up or run the model. It’s kind of a hassle. God bless you and keep you ![]()
