My mom arrived from Asia today and is a trooper, 12 hour time difference 
…. insisted to come over and sleep later.
Sakura Dreamy Tour arrived I can’t wait to make this one… maybe will wait after Christmas.

It is such a cool build.
The trolly can be tricky. You have to make sure it doesn’t get caught on the scenery. You will want to test it several times and be sure it consistently runs completely free before you close it up.
While I was testing had issues with my trolly getting caught. I had to adjust the pins until the trolly had zero wobble. Now it runs perfect. I never have an issue.

What a trooper she is! Jet lag alone would have me hitting the bed the moment I got there…lol! I have not built this model but wax is always very important with anything that moves. Best of luck to you and your mom on this build

It’s a lovely kit. Please be careful to apply the wax properly to ensure the train moves smoothly. They often don’t move smoothly and can get stuck.
Having your mom with you for Christmas makes it feel like close to home
