[ Not Rolife ] Rail-Track Secluded City Update #1

Hey guys! :waving_hand:t2: I haven’t made a post in a bit because I’ve been working on a non-Rolife build for the past week or so, but seeing others post their non-Rolife builds has emboldened me to post my current progress!:blush:

The build started with rolling up a bunch paper and making other paper related small accessory’s:

After building the small items, the next step was working on display windows, and doors!

Afterward it was game on for all the furniture! My favourite pieces were a piano, and then a small table and chairs!!

And now finally, I am getting ready to start putting some walls up, which I will probably start once my work set is over in 2 more days! :star_struck::star_struck:

Also wanted to give a shoutout to my new building companion:

She is the first Nancy that I have bought for myself, I just couldn’t resist once I saw the tea time kitty’s, they are just too cute!!:heart_eyes:

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, and I should have my competed build ready to show y’all by the end of the week! Take care guys!

I have seen this one a couple of times and it’s so awesome when it is finished. Your work is looking very nice so far. I never realized how much work is on the inside of this model.

Everything looks really good! I’m enjoying all the tiny details it just feels like old times again. Hmm I might go on a hunt for some similar kits. :pink_heart:

Your Nanci is sooo cute. Did you get her from a blind box?

The miniature kit has so many small and lovely details. Looking forward to your finished build.

There is so much detail and that piano is to die for. This kit looks like it’s keeping you busy and happy.

Your kitty is so adorable! And you’re doing so great with your furnitures, they look so tiny. I’m curious how it will come together.

Definitely not on the same level as old Rolife kits, but still enjoyable!

Thank you! It reminds me a lot of Holo Magic City! No sticker sheet in this one though, so that makes me happy! :joy:

Yeah, I like doing this style kit once in awhile! Not too difficult, I think the difficulty comes more when building the actually structure, since they have lots of walls, LED’s, and stylized roofs!

Yes I did! I’m got one for both my daughter and I! She ended up getting Pink Maid, which is like a pink cheetah print one, perfect for her!! :joy:

Was this all glue and cut or snap and pop out? There is a lot there! Looks fun

What a amazing kit. I love making all these little items. You did a great job. The only downside to these kits is usually the bunch of very thin and loose wires.

Oh that’s so interesting I’m waiting to see your progress! :pink_heart: I used to find structures the easiest but book nooks have changed my mind. It does get tricky putting everything and the wires in place.

Yeah, the LED’s are definitely usually lower quality than Robotime kits, that’s for sure!

Structures are definitely not too difficult, they just get a lot more complex when your dealing 10 LED’s, multiple rooms, and floors, fancy roofs, etc.

I wish all the builds had that touch pad I think. It is a pain to reach around the back of every room and turn it on.
