It has definitely been the most difficult build I’ve done. So many little details to craft, with a lot of advanced techniques. Surprisingly the building itself wasn’t too bad, other than the big window part. Here are some progress pics from today!
Overall, it’s been a pretty rewarding experience, I think it turned out pretty nice! This is a build I’ve been eyeing-ing for almost a year but held off on until I felt I had the experience, so it’s a nice accomplishment…. And thankfully I got it done before my daughter’s B-day party this Friday, so when I clean my workstation off the dining room table I don’t have to move a million little pieces!! yay!! I hope everybody has been having a good day, and I want to thank you all for following me on this journey! Now off to the next build!
YAYYYYY IT’S SO NEAT AND BEAUTIFULLY DONE! I am so proud of you hahahahahaha as this is a notoriously difficult one. Honestly a 100/10 effort and it looks amazing!
Oh and happy birthday in advance to your daughter! Is her birthday this Friday?
Thank you soo much!! No her birthday is on the 30th, but we’re doing her party on Friday because my husband works weekends, and I wanted him to be there lol!
It looks absolutely amazing, you did such a fantastic job, @Atropex!!! All those tiny details really paid off. Huge congrats on finishing this beautiful build, and happy birthday for your daughter in advanceee!!
I agree, I actually prefer all the older versions of the kits lol. Anytime I realize I accidentally bought a new version and there’s an old version available, I give away the new version and go on a hunt for the old version!
The Gingerbread House is definitely a work in progress. Thanksgiving cooking and getting together with family will slow the process…but I am working away at it….slowly.
I wish it was easier to find the old ones i have seen a few randomly pop up in fb groups but usually no where near me and post makes it soooo expensive
