Just finished my latest Rolife mini house project — Simon’s Coffee, but I switched it up to “Sims Coffee” in honor of my lifelong love for the Sims games! I customized the layout and decor to give it my own unique style, making it truly one-of-a-kind.
Along the way, I’ve learned it’s so important NOT to get bogged down by the tricky parts of making minis. Feel free to change things up as you go! The most important thing is to keep it fun and relaxing — if you’re not relaxed, you’re doing it wrong.
What about you — how do you keep your creative projects fun and stress-free? Or what’s one change you made that made a mini project more enjoyable? Share your tips and stories below!
That turned out beautiful. If I am strugglig on a certain step, I will look a few pages ahead to build other things and then come back to that. Since I also paint all of my build, I can always skip around. Build some, sand some. Paint something.
I love how you made it personal with the “Sims Coffee” twist! That’s such a creative way to bring your own touch to the project. By the way, your little bunny is so cute! What did you use to make it? It really adds a nice personal touch to the whole setup!
Wow, a bundle of 8! That’s awesome! These little figures and accessories really do add so much charm to the scene. Can’t wait to see how your collection grows!
Haha, I’m totally the type to put a DIY project on hold as soon as it gets tricky . Seeing your approach and your finished mini is really inspiring! Thanks for sharing — it makes me want to just enjoy the process instead of stressing over every little detail
I really admire how you customized your mini house into “Sims Coffee.” That’s such a creative twist and it looks like you made some big changes to the original design. I’m especially curious about the little details — how did you make the tiny rabbits, cups, or chairs? Those finishing touches really bring the whole scene to life. Would love to hear about your process.
Wow, Sims Coffee sounds amazing! Love how you made it personal to your own interests — that’s the magic of minis, right? I totally agree, keeping it fun is the best part. For me, I like putting on some music while I build — it keeps me relaxed and in the flow. How long did your ‘Sims Coffee’ take to finish?
