Let’s play “find the differences”… how many can you find?
The first picture is mine. The second picture is the image on the box.
I painted the edges of the floor to carry on the checkered pattern.
I painted the edges of the build silver to match the cross beam.
I painted the yellow cabinet, the black drawers on top of the yellow cabinet, the wall shelf, and the tray of the ladder.
The trash can started out pink and I painted it silver.
I added the dog, air circulator on the floor, a Black and Decker drill, a Black and Decker jigsaw, a desk lamp, a few dirty shop rags, and a trashcan with trash inside and on the floor. I also put the Black and Decker boxes in the cabinets.
I moved some random items around.
I really loved this build more than I expected! I am going to put this on display at one of my venues so that I can try to attract some males to my next DIY and Crafting Club Meetups.
No, the trash can isn’t in the kit, it’s from the Mini Brands Home series. So is the Black and Decker drill and Jigsaw the desk lamp, and the air circulator. they were fun miniatures to collect!
This looks fantastic! I love all the little personal touches you added, @Tkaplan! They really bring the workshop to life. Such a great makeover, well done!
It turned out beautiful! I like your customization the edges of the floor are painted perfectly. I like the colors you gave the cabinet and all the other stuff, really nicely done.
