Completed….Romantic Venice. This was a fun build. I painted the edges of every piece, and in some cases, like the red brick wall, I painted the entire peice. Anything that was just plain brown wood, I painted. I also painted the light because I didn’t think the silver looked nice.i added greenery and the flowers up above in the windowsill. What I found weird was that this kit comes with a dust cover so that it’s enclosed, but the door on the left that opens and closes didn’t have anything in it, so it was open to the elements. I added a piece of clear acrylic that I had kept from a previous kit. I love the look of the water…almost feels like I’m there. I decided to build this one because my husband and I are wanting to take a trip to Italy, so for now I can look at this!
it has so many nice details
I love it. I actually have another Venice book nook from a different company. I’m looking forward to comparing the two…but I like this one so much.
The colors really pop on this! It looks beautiful!
Beautifully done @Tkaplan! ![]()

Nice job. Thank for share.
Curious to see them next to each other
This turned out absolutely stunning. Your painting choices and little fixes really elevate it, and that water effect truly feels like Venice.
@Tkaplan , looks super cool! The DIY ideas are amazing;thanks for sharing ;)
Wow! It looks amazing @Tkaplan
Adding those greeneries made it so realistic. And painting the walls too. Great job!
I’m curious where you got the greens? I think those would be useful for other miniature builds too. I want to buy some too.
@Jill_Francisco everything I used is plants leftover from kits I’ve built. I would think it could all be found on Temu or a similar site.
