Robotime Craft Meetup – Event Summary
The very first Robotime Craft Meetup in the San Antonio + New Braunfels area brought together 20 amazing people for a night full of creativity, connection, and fun! Each guest that RSVP’d got a free miniature kit and entry into the blind box raffle!

Most guests hadn’t heard of Rolife or Robotime before but people got curious right away, checking out the pre-built miniatures, snapping pics, and eyeing the blind box raffle display. We kept things cozy with donuts and flavored fizzy waters, and three guests jumped straight into the Blind Box Social Media Challenge (posting on Instagram about the event) to earn a Baby Nanci Fruit Series box.
We kicked things off with a quick intro about Robotime and how fast it’s growing around the world. One fun fact everyone loved: they created the world’s first wooden DIY electric dinosaur! From puzzles to collectibles, the brand’s whimsical trendy vibe clicked with the group.
To keep things fair (and fun), everyone picked a number from a basket to choose their miniature kit. It added a little surprise element, and a few people even traded kits, which actually made for great icebreakers and easy conversation starters.
The build + social hour was really the heart of the night. With Justin Bieber playing in the background, the room was full of laughter, chatting, and focused crafting. We had a mix of total beginners and more experienced builders, but the vibe stayed super welcoming and low-pressure. The Super Creator kits were perfect for the short timeframe… easy to start, but still really satisfying to work on.
For our one-word video activity, people described their experience as: Kawaii, Joyful, Meditating, Enchanting, Relaxing, Flow-State, Zesty, Peaceful, Refreshing, and Fun—which honestly sums up the night perfectly.

We wrapped up with a group photo (with a big “Robotime!” shout!), and even though no one finished their build… that was completely okay. The goal wasn’t to finish—it was to start, have fun, and enjoy the process. Everyone left with something they could keep working on throughout the week, which they seemed excited about.
To close out the night, we held a blind-box raffle for three Baby Nanci Milk Tea prizes and three very happy winners! (A blind box is a sealed package where you don’t know which character you’ll get until you open it
) Most winners couldn’t wait and opened theirs right away, so we all got to see which figurines they pulled. A couple of guests decided to wait and enjoy the surprise later at home.
It was such a feel-good night. Just a room full of kind people trying something new, getting a little creative, and enjoying the moment. Exactly what we hoped for!
I felt so grateful to host this group, and I truly love being a Robotime Ambassador.
