Twenty crafters of all ages came together at Bytes Cafe in San Antonio for two cozy hours of crafting, conversation, cheesecake, and community. The goal was simple; get out of the house, meet fellow San Antonians, and enjoy a low-pressure creative afternoon together…no rush to finish, just time to build and connect.

To keep things fair and fun, the Robotime Super Creator Kit Styles were distributed by raffle, so everyone had an equal chance of receiving one of four adorable miniature shop styles:

  • Flavorful Ice Cream Shop
  • Perfect Romance Cafe
  • Sweet Sips Tea
  • Tasty Cake Shop

Blind-box raffles were sprinkled throughout the meetup, and it was so much fun seeing all the winners! Prizes included 12+ Suri Mystery Castle Blind Boxes and several Nanci Blind Boxes. Guests received raffle tickets for completing the various meetup activities, including signing up for the online Robotime community and sharing their meetup experience on social media.

A huge thank you to Mari, the owner of Bytes Cafe, for welcoming our group and giving us such a cozy place to craft! We absolutely loved the anime-inspired atmosphere, with fun Pokémon, One Piece, and Spy × Family accents throughout the cafe. There were many menu options, but I absolutely loved the Gengar Latte and Strawberry Cheesecake.

It was wonderful seeing everyone’s works-in-progress. Thank you to everyone who came out and made our second Craft Meetup in the San Antonio area such a warm and memorable afternoon.

Sometimes it’s nice to simply get out of the house, make something with your hands, and meet new people in a welcoming community. That’s what these meetups are all about.

Here’s to more miniature builds, more new friends, more cozy afternoons, and more opportunities to create together!

I love how she decorated the table, with so many balloons, everything in shades of pink, and your sign with your name!

This sounds like such a wonderfully cozy meetup! I love that the focus was simply on crafting, connecting, and enjoying the afternoon without any pressure to finish. The raffle idea was such a fun touch too, especially with everyone getting an equal chance at the different Super Creator styles. And a Gengar latte with cheesecake sounds like the perfect crafting fuel! It looks like you created exactly the kind of welcoming community experience that makes people want to come back. :heart:
