Decided to check on my older builds today! Good thing I did—these past few weeks have been so rainy, and the dehumidifier I put inside the display cabinet was already completely full. Time to swap it out for a fresh one; the absolute last thing I want is mold ruining all those hours of detailed work.
While giving the kit a quick check, I got a little creative. I asked AI to generate a (slightly younger) miniature version of me inside Nancy’s Bake Shop.
Building these tiny spaces has always taken me to a completely different world. It’s my ultimate reset button—a quiet little escape whenever life gets a bit too chaotic. Seeing a tiny “me” tucked inside the warm, cozy shop feels like a nod to that magic.
In a world of big, noisy things, there’s a special kind of peace in crafting small, quiet spaces. It really has a way of quietening the real one.
@Gidge I love the ai render of you in the shop! I’m always thinking about your situation and of how to suggest to help. But you seem to have it figured out out.
