This build came with me on vacation for my birthday… and honestly, I didn’t realize how much I needed it :face_holding_back_tears:

The past few weeks before this trip were really tough for me. Life just felt a little overwhelming, and I found myself constantly rushing, overthinking, and not really being present. So when my birthday trip came around, I told myself I wanted something different—I wanted to slow down.

I packed this book nook thinking it would just be a cozy little activity… but it ended up becoming something so much more :yellow_heart:

Every night, I would sit down and work on this tiny treehouse, piece by piece. No pressure, no rushing—just focusing on the small details, the soft lighting, the little moments. And somewhere in that process, I felt myself start to breathe again.

This build really reminded me that life isn’t about rushing to the finish line… it’s about enjoying the little moments along the way. The quiet ones. The cozy ones. The ones that feel small, but mean everything.

And that’s exactly what this treehouse feels like to me now—a tiny reminder to slow down and just be :herb::sparkles: I thought I was building a treehouse but really, I was rebuilding a little piece of myself.

About the build :house_with_garden:

I absolutely fell in love with the cozy treehouse vibe of this kit. The mossy green roof, the warm glowing lights, the tiny reading nook, the florals… it feels like a peaceful little escape tucked away in nature.

It wasn’t too challenging overall, which made it perfect for a relaxing vacation build. I could take my time and really enjoy putting everything together without feeling overwhelmed.

BUT I will say… the final step tested me a little :sweat_smile:
Getting all the walls aligned and secured at the end was definitely the trickiest part—it just did not want to stay in place at first. I had to be patient and adjust things a few times, but once it finally came together… it was SO satisfying.

And seeing it all lit up at the end? Worth every second :face_holding_back_tears::sparkles:

This one will always feel special to me—not just because it’s beautiful, but because of what it represents :yellow_heart:

A reminder to slow down, be present, and enjoy the little things!
