@Carmie i know i took a break today i went visiting and been planting bulbs for the grandchildren!

I love jigsaws as well and have a heap still to build. I have been taking some of mine to work to share with one of the residents but her eyesight is getting worse and now the weather is cooling down, her arthritis is playing up.
So, now I am inspired to pull out my jigsaws again as well as work through my stash (and build my LEGOs ha ha).
Are you going to pull this one apart or glue it and frame it @Carmie

Pull it apart and pass it on to a friend… We swap jigsaws every 3 months or so… my jigsaw buddy.. I made her a jigsaw quilt.

I can totally understand the need to do something else when working on a DIY kit. I’m also doing one now and can’t work on it all the time. I need to do something else for a while as well.
And I love jigsaw puzzles as well. I mostly make 1000-2000 pieces. Two years ago I made one of 6000 but that took me very long

Omg.. I don’t think l have a surface/table big enough for a jigsaw that big.

Mine wasn’t either. I made that one on the floor in my spare bedroom. 
Ha ha. Well we both quilt, so jigsaws, torture ourselves with mini houses etc.
We must have been separated at birth lol
Lol…l don’t even have that my spare room is my sewing room full of stuff.

Puzzles are fun activity, that one looks a little difficult

@Carmie taking a puzzle break sounds like a very good reset when a detailed miniature starts feeling endless. It is nice how one hobby can give your hands and mind a different kind of challenge before you return to the DIY kit.
