just a little news post from me, i haven’t been building this week and also haven’t decided what my next build will be, this week i am struggling to get thru my sewing, i say struggling because of the heat, next few days it will go up to 37° C or even more, so i think gluing is not even an option here in Belgium at the moment
we don’t have airco in our house or mobile fan, so it’s also 30° C in the whole house
Oh Sofie, I feel you so much. That kind of heat makes even simple crafting feel impossible, so I hope you can take it slow and stay as cool as you can. Here we are like you. It’s horrible…
It’s tough. I don’t blame you for putting building on hold for a bit. Sometimes the weather decides for us, and miniature glue and extreme heat are definitely not the best combination. Hopefully things cool down soon so you can enjoy starting your Super Creator kit in comfort. Stay hydrated, keep cool, and take care of yourself and your parents!
I can see why building has taken a back seat this week. Temperatures like that can make even hobbies we enjoy feel like hard work. I hope the heat eases up soon and that you’ll be able to pick out your next build when it feels fun again.
We have an occasional heat wave here in summer. June is a little early so I fear we might have another one or 2 this year in July or August. But we also might have rain. You never know in Belgium.
I get that. My house was 30,5 degrees celcius (around 86,9 F) when I got home from work. Now it’s a few degrees cooler outside so I have boosted my ventilation system to get a little cooler air inside.
I can feel your struggle. PH is always hot and humid.
Luckily, we have air conditioning units in our homes but the electric bill is another story.
Stay hydrated, wear comfy clothes.
That is quite high in temperature particularly if you aren’t used to the heat. It’s horrid when the inside of the house stays very warm through the day because it affects so many things including your energy and mood. I hope you get through this heatwave okay.
