Progress on the spaceshuttle

Had a moment op peace today in between 2 birthday visites. The combination op the little screws, plastic sheets and wood is really nice and easy to work with. There is also a tool inculded that makes sure the dept of the plastic rings is correct.

The build may look intimidating but the instructions are clear and easy.

I love when you need a tool, like for specific depth, and they include the little tool in your kit as a cut out! Its so clever! :star_struck:

I hope you made a bit of progress today!

For now no hickups so hope it keeps that way. Most important is everything moves correct in the end.

Sand and wax and then wax some more. Never a bad thing to do with moving parts. I don’t mind it all. @Jerry_Boswijk I sand between each and every gear tooth.

Can I see picture of the sandpaper and wax you use for puzzles? I am curious as to what it looks like.

That looks like such a relaxing build! I love how the mix of wood, plastic, and screws comes together, and it’s great that the instructions make it less intimidating!
