Progress #4 - Merriment Mansion

i finally made it to a couple of steps that weren’t to difficult. Lots of pieces, but my B7000 with the precision tip was up for the task! Building the piano was fun watching it come together.

These shelves were brown, but they didn’t match the table or stools that will be near it, so I painted them black.

Then this table top was supposed to have a grayish wood look piece of paper glued on top of it. Again, I didn’t like how it would look, so I painted the table top brown to match the stool seat cushions. The stools were a lighter brown wood, so I made them black to match the shelves and table. (There will eventually be items on the table) I can’t wait to see how these will look in the house.

This is looking great! I love your customisations, and tbh I prefer a black piano over a brown one. I probably would have done the same.

The piano was already black, but I j clouded it in the picture to show how cute it was and to also show how everything coordinates color wise.:slightly_smiling_face:

A lot of real houses these days are white with black trim where I live, so I thought I would try that out on this miniature.:slightly_smiling_face:

@Anje_Leonoza_Mira yes, I have painted quite a bit. I love doing that. I use brush tip acrylic markers that are so fun!

@Jerry_Boswijk thank you so much!

How long till you’re finished? :blush: I’m excited to see it! Maybe it will motivate me to start on the Chinese house I have in my stash. :laughing:

I’ve made some multi-level ones but I don’t think any of them are as big as the one you’re currently working on. :pink_heart:
