I really enjoy doing these. Just finishing up the Dream Coffee Factory. As i look at the kits i have finished i can not help but smile. Then i look at kits like the London Marble Run, the coffee factory, the future city, and other kit like these and wish i could just have the lights on and not the motors like the space shuttle does when you apply power. When these do not do anything with power until you start them the shelf has dead zones. I love the movment, music and such but i do not want the motors burning up. I have alot of mine worikng off usb hub connected to a smart switch so the tun on and off at specific times. Just a thought feel like i am starting to ramble. Lol. Love the shuttle for this and wish they all would just light up when plugged in and the switch was just a mode selector and not a power on/off.

I honestly like your idea. I remember my Dream Gift Factory suddenly stops moving when it’s on for too long. I would also like it that there’s a switch that just keeps the light turned on.

I completely agree! A light-only mode would be perfect for displaying these kits without constantly running the motors. The Space Shuttle’s setup is such a great idea!
