Sakura Dreamy Tour-AMT02 (Part 1)

Opening the box I feel like I am venturing into new territory. There are so many different parts and mechanisms. I’ve never gotten to do one of these large, motorized sets. It is almost overwhelming. I am throughly fascinated.

This tool is surprisingly vital.

First test successful. I needed to supply my own USBC cable and power source.

I always use a hammer for the clear pieces…but the tools for certain depths are a “must have. Looking good!

When done, please try a video with sound so we can hear this too!

I can do that. I panicked in the first test because I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to hear sound. I knew that the speaker was plugged in.

I ended up reading ahead and plugging everything in and than I heard sound after I plugged in the other switch.

So in short. You aren’t supposed to hear sound until later in the build.

What clear pieces?

This is neat!! I’m excited to start getting in to some of the mechanical builds too! Itll be a nice change with new challenges!

This is looking like it is going to be another good STEM project. Don’t let it’s pretty in pink facade fool you. It has technical/mechanical aspects like the rocket build.

All kits like this one need a own cable and power supply. I plan on putting them next to each other and put a usb hub behind it.

It does open up some new possibilities at least. I could plug it into a wall outlet now.

Yes i have built it, it’s fantastic!!! Such clever design :star_struck:

It is better all those batteries you need to stockpile haha

We need to talk. If it is a battery hook up type, can you convert?

It’s a USBC hook up. You can just get an adapter and plug it into the wall. You can even get one of those adapters that has several ports so you can hit one switch and turn everything on at once.

I had both the cable and charging port before hand.

I know my cuckoo clock has this option and my super creator is only this. but can you convert the others that are battery?

Not that I know of. That would be complicated.
