Hey my fellow builders :waving_hand:
I’m not sure why my post was removed from the DIY and craft tips tab, but anyways, as some of you may know I completed the Space Shuttle and it’s an awesome model, but me being me, I needed it to do more :rofl: So I spent days doing research, brainstorming, testing, failing and then testing again and tbh I can’t quite believe that an idea that popped in my head actually worked out :star_struck: Some things of course could have been improved, but that’s for you guys to learn from my mistakes. And I really hope you guys enjoy the mod and I also hope others will give it a shot because the feeling is unreal when you basically make the model truly yours, kind of like a connection. Anyways, enough of chatting, just take a seat and enjoy :blush:

WOW! You have the patience of a saint. This is absolutely amazing! I can’t even fathom putting ANYTHING INSIDE that shuttle…Very nice! Congrats on your success!

I’m so glad you like it and there’s plenty of ways people could modify it themselves. But yeah as long as they still do their own research, have plenty of time, patience, learn from my mistakes and most importantly have dedication to complete it. And dedication is the hardest part. But I hope I can inspire people to just unleash their creativity :blush:

Hi Martins,

I am also trying to create some crazy ideas and I want to physically launch the rocket ship as the smoke comes out. Great idea on the audio files and I have created my own as well below for my project. For some reason it goes on a bit longer but I will be using this for my own idea.

I had a wee listen and you could just chop the end/silence part easily.
As for making the rocket actually go up, now that would be absolutely incredible. I e got a couple of really rough ideas in my head for it as well, but I need some time to see what I could do.

Hi Martin.If you go to ROKR Official Fans group, type his name (Peter Merritt into the search bar…and then type his name into the dropdown that says “posted by”. You can scroll thru all of his posts. I will see if I can tag you… but I don’t recall your last name. Some people don’t allow themselves to be tagged. If you have troube finding them, you can always send me a friend request so that I can tag you on them.
