👍 [Pro Tips] ROKR Space Shuttle Step-by-Step Assembly Guide: Part 3 (3 Mechanical Arm Build)

Hey hey my fellow builders :waving_hand: Part 3 of the ROKR Space Shuttle step-by-step assembly is out now :rocket: This is one of the most important stages of the build, where I assemble the three moving mechanical arms and make them work like an absolute dream. In this build part I can clearly see how mistakes are easily made, so careful alignment and attention to detail here really matter.

I hope you all enjoyed it, find it helpful and look forward to the last and final part 4 soon

This is awesome, @Martins_Assembly_H!!
Part 3 is such a crucial step, and your explanations make it feel much less intimidating. The mechanical arms working so smoothly is incredibly satisfying to watch. Thanks so much for sharing this, really looking forward to part 4! Only the rocket left!

Hey, ahh that’s absolutely awesome to hear, and you’re definitely correct, this part is the crucial part because if they don’t work out, then that’s just a waste really. And I’m so delighted you enjoyed it, absolutely love that :star_struck: Roll on the rocket :rocket:

Absolutely!! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
You explained it so clearly that it really boosts confidence for anyone tackling this kit. :raising_hands:

Wohoo, love it  I look at it this way, if nobody has to leave a comment and ask questions about a specific step or how to do this and that, then that’s the job done, no one has questions, everyone just builds and enjoys it

More videos to save the day! :pink_heart:

I’ve honestly seen so many Space Shuttle posts where people seem to struggle and I’m worried it will be me one day.

Oohhh yeahhhh
I’ve actually got my part 4, so the final part all recorded, but I need to wait a bit before publishing. And all I can say is, if people follow basically exactly how I’ve built it, it will work amazingly well because my one is so smooth and just magic, it works a treat and I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy them, I hope  It was quite the incredible satisfaction I got there towards the end, I got too excited and basically nearly started messing around with the step by step video :rofl:

You are more than welcome Tricia  Trust me you will love it, it’s very satisfying to build, but it does have its challenges, but nothing too difficult, and the final model is quite magical to say the least :star_struck:

It’s my pleasure Nita, I’m glad I can help out  And yeah you’re right, I’ve been seeing posts from people having issues with it for weeks now :grimacing:
When is it going to stop

The worst thing is…that the directions are very good…and it seems as though people are all getting this notion that this is a “dud” model. Human error is almost always the root of the problem…and NOT sanding/waxing. It’s an AMAZING model.

Not gonna lie, but to me it mostly sounds like it’s just people not following the instructions correctly and instead of trying to figure the kit out, they just jump to the conclusion that kit is faulty or poorly designed, but it’s none of them

I 100% agree with you on that one. But people won’t admit that because they feel safer just assuming the kit is faulty or poorly designed, but it’s none of them.

Fingers crossed :crossed_fingers::blush:

Yeah you’ve got a fair point. I’ve never really ‘failed’ a single kit because I study the instructions properly but I can see why some others struggle.

It can be challenging for a first timer with not a lot of patience and experience. But that’s why we have people like you making videos - for the visual learners. :pink_heart:
