This is one of those builds that really stands out once it all comes together. What caught my attention right away is the side wall window — I don’t think I’ve seen that included like this before, and it adds so much depth and realism to the whole scene. I really hope they keep doing that in future kits because it makes a big difference.
There are a lot of thoughtful little details throughout this one. There’s a small shelf with a couple of empty hooks, and it felt like the perfect spot to add a little extra personality. Since it’s a café, I hung a couple of towels there, and it just made that area feel more complete.
The espresso machine is honestly one of my favorite parts. It has that industrial coffee shop look, and the level of detail on it is impressive for something so small. The service counter also stood out to me — it has a marble-style finish that gives it a more polished, upscale feel.
Another detail I really liked is the round lit café-style sign on the wall. It adds a really fun glow to the space without being too much, and I also appreciated how the wiring was designed to run underneath the window so it stays nicely hidden.
I didn’t end up doing a lot of customization on this one beyond moving a few things around, but I did use a little superglue in a few spots where pieces didn’t want to stay put on their own. There was also one sticker placement that didn’t quite look right to me, so I adjusted it to fit the space better.
One thing I really like about this build is that it feels a little less busy than some others, which gives all those details more room to stand out. I’m planning to add this one as a column in my Super Creator house, and I think it’s going to fit in really nicely.
For my meetup in May, I’m planning to have the room we’re building set up on its own, but I’m also thinking about bringing a display to show how these connect together. I’m torn between setting up a full display with the connections, dust covers, and roof pieces installed, or keeping it simpler.
And if I do bring a full display, I can’t decide on the layout — would you rather see a two-wide by two-tall setup, or something taller like a one-wide by three-tall stack?
Overall, this one has a lot of charm and some unique features that make it feel a little different from other café builds.
If you were coming to a meetup, would you want to see how everything connects with the covers and roof in place, and which layout would you find more interesting to look at a 2x2 setup or 1x3?
