I would love to feel at peace as the Christmas holidays approach. I’m sure it’s been a challenging year for many people so I want to focus on appreciating what I have and let go of dwelling on my losses.
I’m looking forward to a beautiful summer with lots of barbecues at the beach and road trips shared with family and friends. Any sort of summer activities is what we do here during this lovely break.
It’s currently summer here in the southern hemisphere so here’s a photo of my sun-bathed post office in my backyard with my fully bloomed African Lily. I chose this kit for my Christmas vibe because I want to send joy and peace to everyone, myself included.
Haha, yeah, that’s not very good! That’s cool you guys still put trees up though, I thought you might do something different since a pine tree isn’t super summery. I think that would be so weird having Christmas in the summer, I’m so used to the snow and the cold, I don’t usually even start feeling christamsy until snow starts falling. Usually first snow and I’m like “time to put the tree up!” and it’ll still be like October or something
Hahaha trees are definitely a big thing here! Natural selection just decided to take me out by giving me allergies! I love that for you though, I would love to experience a white Christmas, we only get Santa in a bathing suit here, I think it’s time to plan a holiday for the future!
This is such a calming Christmas vibe, and your sunlit post office looks beautiful. Focusing on what you have and letting go of the heaviness of the year is a lovely intention. Wishing you a peaceful summer full of family, friends, and gentle moments.
P.D: Santa is watching…
Thank you @Wenbare! I’m really trying to tell my mind to be more positive moving forward. I think that’s the only way we can change and make things better for ourselves.
