Very nice study on spray paints, I have used this as well and I will be using it for the Seahorse.

The study did not include any spray type painting.
Are you using that type of process ?
Cool. What does your equipment consist of ?
Thanks for the feedback.

That is a GREAT question.

VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) the higher the VOC the more there are fumes. HOWEVER, if one buys off-brand (aka really cheap paint) then there could be other chemicals in that paint like formaldehyde which will smell really nasty to some people. That is also why I only purchase 100ml jars of paint. If I detect any offensive odor when first opening, I make sure I use in well ventilated area OR just throw the paint away and notify the seller I will not purchase from them again.

Let your nose to be the guide, not your purse.

Thanks for the tips. I like 5 and 4 the best

No spray is involved. Joe uses a 2 inch roller for everything, he says @Terranoir123

No fumes involved when using acrylic paints… at least not that I notice. I am a house painter though… so I may just be used to them. Fumes usually come from paints that are sprayed (lacquer, oil enamels like Rustoleum, Krylon, etc) which is not shown here. These are rolled on…not sprayed. @Microgirl

got ya.

HMMMM..what? you said you’ve sprayed sheets before…Not sure I understand what you mean… @Terranoir123

I’ll send you pics when I begin next week

Looking forward to seeing them. I am interested to know how well spraying covers the raw edges. @Terranoir123

On that note, it doesn’t I use oil based paint which colors close enough to blend in as need be.

OH! ok. Being a house painter, touch up colors never just ‘blend in’…but I’ll be looking forward to seeing the final project for sure… @Terranoir123

Nice work :+1:t2:
