Hello and welcome to community @anghelitaalonzo !
One short story about:
@dennisealexandre welcome, and thank you for sharing such a sweet memory with your mom. Joining a Rolife workshop together sounds like a beautiful way to spend quality time. We are happy Miriam and the event made your first experience so memorable.
Me, my husband & daughter moved to Australia from South Africa at the end of 2021. We started our journey in Darwin & spent our 1st 3 years there.
Then we moved to Melbourne at the start of 2025…a 3 700km road trip!!
I love Melbourne, the vibe, the shows, the coffee & the architecture! St Paul’s Cathedral is one of the many beautiful landmarks in Melbourne ![]()
Great pic of the cathedral Terri. I visited Darwin last year in the dry season. I could easily live there for the dry and then go south for the wet.
That must have been so scary
I’m glad they found you.
Best of luck in the giveaway @Trishia25
Welcome to the community @GWVan60
You have created such a fun kit
I was in Carmel, city of most roundabouts, a few months ago. Right near you.
If my city were a Rolife kit I think it would be a super creator kit! This is because there is o much to here! Not only that it imitates city life. Slowly but surely it is becoming full of tall skyscrapers and apartment complexes. Just like the super creator kits they stack up and light up. Not only that but there is a huge diversity of things, people, etc.
Yeees its true. What do i know back then im just a kid hahaha.
My city is a typical New England town, with a white-steepled church and a tree-lined common, where a band plays in the gazebo on summer evenings. We have a parade and fireworks on founder’s day. It is a town where people have a passion for preserving the historic character of the town, while still embracing the new. Because in Massachusetts local government is run at the town level, towns flourish through direct democracy, with residents voting all proposals twice a year at town meeting. We share our town with a large stadium, not always easy but the town makes it work. If it were a kit, it would feature our pink 100-year old community theater!
Welcome @Marisa_Lhiz to the community. We have a large Filipino community here so I am sure yuh will fit right in.
I live in the Philippines particularly Muntinlupa City and my parent live in Negros Occidental. It has been a long time since I last visit my parent’s town. I’ve remembered good memories when I was a child and spending my youthful days in the province. Me and my sibling had a lot of fun on those days.
One of its landmark is the Roman Catholic Church that was built in 1880. It’s a tourist spot.
A memory that matters..
Marikina City is more than just my city..it is my family’s home and a place that shaped who I am today.
Growing up here taught me the value of discipline, responsibility, and caring for the community. In Marikina, people are known for keeping their surroundings clean, properly disposing of their trash, and practicing simple everyday habits that show respect for others. Being a Marikeño means understanding that even small actions can make a big difference.
Some of my favorite memories are the simple moments spent with my family, walking around parks, enjoying the Marikina River, and appreciating how organized and peaceful our city is. These ordinary moments became meaningful because they were shared in a community that takes pride in itself.
It also makes me proud that Marikina is known as the Shoe Capital of the Philippines. The city represents hard work, craftsmanship, and creativity, values that have been passed down through generations.
That is why Robotime resonates with me. Every tiny piece carefully assembled reminds me of Marikina itself: a city where patience, attention to detail, and dedication come together to create something beautiful.
The memory that matters most is growing up in a city that taught me that discipline, cleanliness, and pride in one’s community can turn a simple place into a home worth celebrating.
