There is a story to this build for me.
Last year sometime I kept seeing this kit and thought it looked really fun to do. But, I kept putting it off because I didn’t think I could do it.
Now, I have the miniature bug, I decided that I would buy it.

Sadly, my order was apparently delivered to my workplace but it never arrived. After to-ing and fro-ing with Australia Post and AE, AP emailed me saying it looked like a delivery issue on their end and to take it up with AE. The company refused to accept that I had never received it and rejected my claim. Out of pocket for it.
So, I found it somewhere else and purchased it.
I almost did cartwheels when it arrived. I did say almost. The idea of me doing cartwheels is not for the faint hearted!
I was, however, extremely happy.

The first thing to make was the chair. It took me two hours and I loved every minute of it.

Today, I kept working on items for the build. Several hours of work but I’m enjoying every moment. The instructions are easy to follow and the swearing has been minimal. The sceptre was a little frustrating but I got there in the end.

Oh my goodness. This looks like an amazing kit. I am sorry that you had to go through such efforts to get it …but I am happy to hear that it was worth all of the struggles.

It is very Alice. Even the little books have Alice on it and there is an invitation to a tea party.

No. AE kept saying I didn’t have enough evidence and then closed it all out before their 90 day window. They were making out that I was lying.

Oh they did.
I’m currently chasing refunds from them over an order I made 5 weeks ago and hasn’t even left the country.

You possibly would but it might concern you to know that those little gold ‘buttons’ are actually nails. Might make it a little uncomfortable. :persevering_face:
