There comes a time when our children will inspire us to be better people, and in this particular instance, my kids inspired me to make miniatures. I’m forever grateful that they came into my life and blessed me with this inspiration. I have had my challenging days and making miniature works of art helped me get through them.
Today I’m showcasing their recent works. My 13 yo son made the Sakura tram and my 16 yo daughter made the Silent corner study.
This is soooo touching. It’s beautiful how your kids inspired you, and even more special that you can now share this hobby together. Their builds look wonderful, and the love and meaning behind them really shines through. Thank you for sharing something so heartfelt
Thank you. I never thought that I’d be making miniatures until they introduced me to this wonderful hobby. I’m indebted. The best part is that we get to enjoy our time together as a family because of our shared love for miniatures.
Indeed. My son used to do a lot of Legos even advanced ones when he was little. I couldn’t be more proud. He’s definitely more talented than the mom lol
Awe thats so sweet! I find a lot of inspiration through my little sister, she has some great ideas sometimes You never know until try, right! There builds look great too! I personally want to do the study soon
That’s so awesome !My younger son had done several ROKR models before I even knew anything about them. When I saw them on a visit, I thought they were super cool and my older son gifted me one at Christmas after that visit. I am so thankful for learning about these amazing kits
Aww this is a beautiful read! I’m so happy they introduced you to this addicting hobby. Even better you can work on it together as a family. There’s definitely going to be lots of precious bonding moments!
Thank you very much. That’s what I’m looking forward to for the new year. More opportunities to bond with the kids through this hobby. And by the way, congratulations on winning the leaderboard. So well deserved.
That is a beautiful story. There’s so much that we can learn from our children. I know for myself that I still have a lot to learn about life through their eyes.
Thank you so much. I love the silent corner study so much that I bought another one. I love learning from my kids. Thank goodness they’re smarter than me.
