There comes a time when our children will inspire us to be better people, and in this particular instance, my kids inspired me to make miniatures. I’m forever grateful that they came into my life and blessed me with this inspiration. I have had my challenging days and making miniature works of art helped me get through them.
Today I’m showcasing their recent works. My 13 yo son made the Sakura tram and my 16 yo daughter made the Silent corner study.
This is soooo touching. It’s beautiful how your kids inspired you, and even more special that you can now share this hobby together. Their builds look wonderful, and the love and meaning behind them really shines through. Thank you for sharing something so heartfelt

I never thought that I’d be making miniatures until they introduced me to this wonderful hobby. I’m indebted. The best part is that we get to enjoy our time together as a family because of our shared love for miniatures.
Indeed. My son used to do a lot of Legos even advanced ones when he was little. I couldn’t be more proud. He’s definitely more talented than the mom lol
I was the same way when I was a child. I enjoyed quiet reflective activities. I enjoyed Legos, play dough, water colors, video games.
I think I get it from my dad. Your son probably gets his craftiness from you.

Awe thats so sweet! I find a lot of inspiration through my little sister, she has some great ideas sometimes You never know until try, right! There builds look great too! I personally want to do the study soon

That’s so awesome !My younger son had done several ROKR models before I even knew anything about them. When I saw them on a visit, I thought they were super cool and my older son gifted me one at Christmas after that visit. I am so thankful for learning about these amazing kits
