Nano light shipment arrived yesterday allowing me to re-start build.
The two circuits of lighting runs on the large red component took way longer than expected.
Working with solid wire nano light cable, which is only 0.25mm thick, kinda has a flex mind of its own.
Not to mention mating such ultra-thin wire to standard 22 gauge wiring took some out-of-the-box thinking and testing.
Finally worked out the kinks of mating the two completely different electrical wiring gauges into a secure and durable connection without soldering !
Milestone 5 passed today with the install of the large red component to its 28 integration mating points (24 of them consisting of round parts and long tabs) on the structure underneath.
With Milestone 5 in the rear view mirror was able to make a tonne of build progress today.
More internal structure assembly to be added and then its a long slog with installing 32 nano lights on the next level.
This will be where the 3-hole straws as conduits really pays off.

Wow, that is some seriously impressive wiring work! The 0.25mm nano light cable sounds incredibly fiddly, especially when connecting it to 22-gauge wire without soldering. Getting all 28 integration points installed and passing Milestone 5 must feel like a huge accomplishment! Now 32 more nano lights are waiting for you, but it sounds like you’ve got the system figured out. Can’t wait to see how this fantasticbuild progresses!
How did you end up mating the ultra-thin wire to ther 22 guage? I will need to do the same in about a week, so I would like to know in case I need to go and buy anything.
Sounds like you really know what you are doing, even just reading it melted my mind a little this would be the part I dread the most, it sounds very complicated
