she did it my daughter in her first try for her theoritic driving exam, she can now get her temporary driver’s license and be a student driver. … now husband and myself learn her how to drive a car. i’m so freaking proud of her.
Her result was 45/50 and she needed 41/50 to pass it, so 45/50 is very good to pass it.
She has an appointment next week on Tuesday to apply for her temporary driver’s license and be a student driver. She will probably get it in 2 weeks time and then she can get behind the wheel with husband or me next to her learning how to drive. When she gets 18 in March 2027 she can try for her practical exam, but she says she at least wants to be a student driver for 1 year.
it was freaking nerve racking for me waiting in my car until she got out the exam center, when she got out she was waving with the papers and putting her thumbs up and we called her dad/my husband right away at work with the good news. We messaged her 2 older brothers at work with the news and the are both very proud of her.
@Grey74 like me she is good under pressure, when there is a deadline, you only get 15 seconds for each of the 50 questions you need to answer, you at least need 41/50 to pass the exam and she got 45/50 and the score also depends if you get big or small faults, as a big wrong answer puts you down 2 points, so she probably got 5 little wrong answers
@Jo1 thx, yes is such a hyper day again, and our national soccer team is playing again this evening, so that’s a bit of a mystery if they will be able to win from Spain,
@Jo1 i am not going to jinx it, i am not going to watch the match, they always loose when i watch, so i am not going to jinx it, i will hear it because my neighbor watch it outside in heat like this, so i will hear it from him when they score and he is yelling the neighborhood together, so i haven’t watched any match from them this Worldcup and the won everytime
Congratulations on both the leaderboard prize and your daughter’s amazing achievement! Passing on her first try with 45/50 is fantastic, you must all be so proud of her! I can only imagine how nerve-racking it was waiting outside, but seeing her come out with a big thumbs up must have made it all worthwhile. Wishing her lots of confidence and safe driving as she starts practicing. What an exciting milestone for your whole family!
