I survived my first paper plants (please be proud of me 🥹)

Thank you so much, Alessandra! :folded_hands::blush:

Very wise. Although I nearly cried when my long awaited order arrived today - my trees are too big and my puppies are too small

But necessity is the mother of invention… Right?

I know the feeling. One of the sets of flowers I bought was miniature roses. They’re the size of my thumb. Way too big to use. :joy:

@Melinda yes!! We learn more and more as we create. It’s one aspect that is always so fun to me. And I make sure to never say not to trying out another skill I haven’t done before.

This is such a gorgeous little build and you have done magnificently. I am very proud of you for mastering the plants!

Oh, that’s so disappointing, I’m so sorry!

With one, I must have misinterpreted the pot size - I thought it was 3cm wide (yes it’s wide for a book nook, but ideal for replacing the letterbox) and only 8cm high - not 18! :joy:.

For sure. And it’s good for our brains and fine motor systems, too, which I think more about as the years race by.

Thank you so much, Sue! :face_holding_back_tears::heart::people_hugging:

Oops…you could almost fit the book nook in it. :joy:

You have done a fantastic job with all of your paper flowers, I especially love the look of the little Venus fly trap type ones that are next to the toadstools in the last picture

I think you can definitely say you have now mastered the art of paper flowers :raising_hands:t2::raising_hands:t2:

Right? It’s so hard to tell sometimes - especially when they won’t put measurements on the listing and you have to just guess or gamble!

Thank you so much, Nic! I feel a lot more confident now, for sure - at least in terms of how to handle and manage the more fragile or tiny parts. I’m still not a fan of wire plants, though :face_with_peeking_eye:
