I survived my first paper plants (please be proud of me 🥹)

Until now, I had not completed a kit with paper flowers or plants. But I suspected that my autumn transformation would require me to master this skill…

So I decided to make the Green Fountain Garden mini store. It’s sweet and pretty, and an ideal training ground for paper plants and flowers!

And I thought it would be easy. Hah! Some of these plants were deceptively hard for me to manage, such as this one that required me to fold it almost flat to fit inside its pot:

But it left me more confident to tackle my autumn transformation! Here are some of my favourite details!

You did great! So much more better than I ever could. Every time I do any kind of plants or flowers they always come out as botanical experiments and I’m ashamed so I generally try to stay away from these kinds of things lol

Yeah, that’s why I hate plants! They seem easy, but they’re not! They take a lot of work.

:people_hugging: What I didn’t mention is the several leaves that tore because I struggled to get them into the pot, and arranged into plant position :face_with_peeking_eye:.

Thank you so much for your kind support :folded_hands:

Thank you so much, Nita! The paper plants were the thing I was most concerned about. Now that I have a good idea what to expect and how to manage them, I feel a lot more confident. Like you said, I can tackle anything now that I have more of a sense of how to handle paper plants!

Thankyou, Gidge! The larger leaves gave me grief but I have some clearer ideas of how to handle it all in the future!

Thank you so much, Sasa! I absolutely underestimated how hard I would find certain aspects of making the plants.
