Today marks one full year of my attendance in the community. This was such a fun project to get started. I really struggled in the beginning because I am not very computer savvy. I’m so happy that I finally figured some things out. I still struggle with technology as a whole but I have learned how to navigate the community. It has been amazing to watch each new member learn and grow and I myself am still learning and growing. I am so proud of those who are excelling in there ambassadorship. I love seeing all the smiling faces at your meet-ups. Although I used to carry the title of Ambassador, I much prefer the title of craft expert. The crafting part is what I love the most. At my age, I just don’t have the energy to do what ambassadors do. Hats off to all of you who do so.
Today, I started a new house and dog sitting job. There are four dogs, about 50 ducks and countless birds and deer to feed. I love being at this place.
Grayson is the bulldog and Trixie is the sweetest German Shepherd ever. The other two are never still but I will be here for 11 or 12 days so I will try to get pictures of them later. I just barely started my glittering water lilies and I am already missing my magnetic clips and I forgot a razor knife. Such is life so I am making do for now.
I will also be busy painting various areas in the home where I am at so I think this one is going to take me a while. I love these staycations though because all I have to do is crawl out of bed and go to work.. LOL!

@Nita_Davis one full year here is such a lovely milestone, especially with the way you described learning the community while still keeping crafting at the center. Your staycation mix of house sitting, painting, dogs, ducks, and Glittering Water Lilies sounds wonderfully full. Thank you for bringing so much steady encouragement and craft wisdom here.

I painted my kit too which definitely increased the amount of time to finish but that is ok. You will be painting so many things these next few weeks!
